Secrets I Wish to Reveal - Spanish music for voice, violin & guitar

The programme Secretos Quiero Descubrir (Secrets I Wish to Reveal) is built around the Aglaia Trio's first album. It is a very personal project, born from their love of Spanish music with its rich and diverse cultural heritage and of these pieces in particular, some of which they have been performing for many years. It features folk songs arranged by Federico García Lorca and Francisco Javier Jáuregui from the Andalusian, Basque, Catalan and Sephardic communities in Spain. It also includes“Homenajes” by Eduardo Morales-Caso as well as first time recordings of pieces composed for the ensemble by award winning contemporary composers John Barber, Agustín Castilla-Ávila and David de Puerto.
